The start of the second decade has been marked by numerous adjustments, changes, modifications and alterations. Each of the countries has made substantial changes in their visa policies. The over subscription by an increasing number of applicants led to creation of backlogs and long waiting queues and this clogging impeded fast processing of the requests.

He continued by saying that although it was clear that all the applications received were not bound to be granted permission as the grant of entry permits relied on comprehensive assessment, the overcrowded counters and waiting lines impeded smooth functioning and in fact hid the applications of genuine applicants under the piles of unsuitable candidates. Long application processing queues and the endless waiting times marred the older systems. But the things have now changed for good and some drastic improvements have been reported in the system.

However, the recently incorporated modifications have also bought about certain major changes in the basic functioning of the visa policies which have led to disqualification of many people who were otherwise qualifying in the older framework of laws. The alterations now assess the candidates more strictly and evaluate each trait of their profile more closely. The biggest impact of these alterations has reflected in the language skills assessment where the applicants are now required to evidence their linguistic skills at a higher level than the older parameters.

This, he said has also led to a sudden spurt in events and incidents where many a Fraud Company is committing serious bungling’s and offences. These sorts of companies are promises skies to people and minting huge money out of each instance. The poor ignorant people easily fall prey to the sweet talk and tall promises of receiving backdoor entry into the country of desire.
